The Extech MA160 Open jaw design provides quick current measurements in tight locations without breaking the circuit. True RMS provides accurate readings on noisy, distorted or non-sinusoidal waveforms. Convenient built-in Non-Contact Voltage (NCV) Detector allows quick detection of live voltages while the LED backlight, with two level brightness, and flashlight help take measurements in dimly lit environment.

HT Italia XL422 Three-phase Current Data Logger

The HT Italia XL422 performs measurements and records TRMS AC current up to 2500A in a generic three phase 3-wire system.

The XL422 is part of the HT Data Logger family which includes the following models: XL421, XL423 and XL424

These models can perform measurements and recordings of TRMS AC current up to 2500A from a generic single-phase system.

They can be very useful for various applications:

evaluation of load consumption

verification of nominal power of the incoming supply

The instrument is enclosed in a safe and practical case with a built-in flexible clamp enabling you to clamp-on to a cable or bar with wide dimensions.

Thanks to a sophisticated memory algorithm the instrument is able to record for a considerable time, up to about 1 year! (With a 60 sec integration period for single phase loggers and 5 min integration for 3 phase loggers dependant on battery life). It is also simple and straight forward to use.

With TOPVIEW2004 Windows software, supplied with the model, it’s possible to download and analyse all recorded data directly on your PC.

The high-protection (IP65) casing makes the instrument reliable to use in extreme environmental conditions.

HT Italia XL422 Function:

TRMS AC current measure up to 2500A

Recording with sampling programmable period

Manual activation of recording

The Extech MA620 clampmeter is compact and easy to hold. Whether you are performing amp readings in a heavy duty industrial setting or doing commercial electrical work, the 600 amp rating and ample 40mm jaw opening can accommodate most jobs, swallowing conductors up to 750 MCM. You can easily read the large, illuminated, dual display even in poorly-lit job sites. The 4-digit (6,000 count) readout is complemented by a bargraph display to simulate an analog display. You can operate the meter with one hand, having a thumb-dial selector that is ergonomically placed on the side. One important safety tool that is built in to the MA620 that provides convenience and safety is a non-contact voltage (NCV) detector. The detector quickly identifies the presence of voltage on live wires and alerts the user with a red LED indicator. This eliminates the need for a separate tester, offering users more value, added safety, and less toolbag clutter.

Advanced Capabilities

The heart of the MA620 is an advanced digital multimeter. You can select auto- or manual-ranging and measurement functions cover all types of troubleshooting over and above noninvasive current probe measurements: voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle, diode and continuity tests. Even measure temperature with the supplied Type K bead wire probe. For better diagnostics and troubleshooting, you can use one of several one-button functions: press HOLD to freeze a reading on the LCD; MAX/MIN tracks and display maximum and minimum values (useful for blind measurements); and REL activates Relative mode for “zeroing out” the meter, useful for improving the accuracy of DC current measurements. It can be very difficult to make accurate current and voltage readings in industrial and commercial applications when electronic devices are present. Fluorescent lights, motor drives, computer power supplies, and other electronic systems can distort the AC waveform, making it hard for averaging meters to get an accurate read. True RMS uses a more advanced formula to adjust for this kind of distortion.

Extech MA410T AC Current Clamp Meter with Built-In Non-Contact Voltage Detector

The Extech MA410T 400 A AC True RMS Clamp Meter + NCV is used to quickly check for the presence of live wires before testing plus 40A and 400A current ranges. Made in such a way that the Extech MA-410T is compact in size, the user is able to put it to use even in the tightest of spaces and still get results. The Extech MA401T comes with test leads, a general purpose Type K bead wire temperature probe, two AAA batteries and a carrying case.

Data Hold

To freeze the LCD reading, press the HOLD button. The HOLD icon appears on the LCD. Press the HOLD button again to return to normal operation.

Relative

Press the REL button (REL will appear in the display) to zero the reading and create a reference point. All future reading will be the difference between the actual reading and the stored “REL” reading. In the REL mode, autoranging is disabled and measurements are limited to the range active when the REL button was pressed. Press the REL button to exit the mode. Note: Relative does not function in Frequency or Duty Cycle mode.

Automatic Power Off

In order to conserve battery life, the meter will automatically turn off after approximately 30 minutes. To turn the meter on again, change the position of the function switch.

Low battery indication

When the icon appears in the display, the battery should be replaced. Refer to the battery replacement procedure in the maintenance section.
