HT Italia HT2055 consists in a power unit and a voltmetric unit, necessary for carrying out step and contact voltage measurements in industrial electric installations typical of AT and AAT (TN systems, transformer cabinets) with a rated test current up to 50A.

The two units, synchronized in time and current are capable of providing the correct value of step and contact voltages consistently with the real current values measured by the power unit, also taking into consideration the disturbance effects found on the measured circuit. It is also capable of measuring earth resistance and ground resistivity by the classical voltammetric method. These measurements can be saved in the internal memory of the voltmetric unit and downloaded onto the PC through the provided Windows software.

The HT Italia HT2055 is composed of a station and a meter designed to perform step/contact voltage measurements on electrical installations such as HV power stations (TN systems, electrical substations) with a rated test current of up to 50A according to international guidelines. Both units, initially synchronized in time and current, can perform an exact calculation of step and contact voltage values, applying the real test current measured by the station. An internal DSP filter also performs the automatic compensation of noise voltage disturbances affecting the measuring circuit. The instrument also permits measurement of ground resistance with 3-wire method and ground/soil resistivity with the 4-wire Wenner method. All results can be saved into the instrument’s internal memory and downloaded to a PC through the Windows software.

The HT Italia MACROTEST G1 is an innovative multifunction installation tester capable of carrying out safety tests on civil and industrial electric systems in compliance with IEC/EN61557-1. Its resistive TFT color touch-screen display, its icon menu, its help-on-line and its user-friendly development make the instrument extremely intuitive even for unskilled users. Its numberless features grant the user a wide range of applications in the world of measurements.

The multifunction installation tester MACROTEST G1 allows saving all measures into an internal memory so transferring the saved data to a PC by means of USB (provided as standard) or built in Wi-Fi interfaces with an iOS and Android smartphones or tablets. The software supplied among standard accessories allows printing testing reports. The multifunction installation tester MACROTESTG1 has as Optional clamp T2100 permits to quickly check the resistance of earth probes without disconnection from earth system.

More than one earth
The Macrotest Series easily measures earth ground resistance (2 and 3 Point Method) and soil resistivity (4 Point Method) with an easy to understand graphical user interface and color touchscreen. The meter can store internally up to 999 measurements. The included software enables easy data transfer to a computer, tablet or phone via built-in Wi-Fi or USB connection where it can be archived or used to generate reports. In addition to volt ampere method other testing modes can be adopted as follows:

Stackless earth ground resistance measurement with T2100 (optional)
HT Macrotest Series adopts an innovative method for earth resistance measurement eliminating the worry of finding a place for auxiliary earth rods. Earth resistance measurement will be easier thanks to an algorithm HTEarth storing all measurements effected with clamp T2100 and calculating earth resistance value without disconnecting rods.

Soil resistivity
It measures soil resistivity ( ) with 4-pole Wenner method.

GEO416 has been developed to measure earth resistance with 2 wires, 3 wires and 4 wires by voltammetric method and ground resistivity. These values are extremely important while designing earth systems.

The 2-wire method, by taking advantage of appropriate external masses as a reference (metal surfaces, tubes, neutral conductor, etc.), is particularly useful in private environments where, because of logistic problems, it is not possible to use the 3-wire method. The device allows carrying out measurements with a wide measuring range (up to 50kOhm) with an efficient internal compensation of the disturbance effects found on the installations. GEO416 is provided with an internal memory for saving measurements and with an optical/USB interface for transferring measured data onto the PC

T2000 clamp is specially developed to evaluate resistance of earth rods with no need to disconnect any part of the system (STAKELESS METHOD)

The inner part of the device is made of 2 jaws, one for current reading and the other for voltage generation. The voltage jaws generate a potential (E) on the loop during resistance (R) measurement. A current (I) is consequently generated on the loop and is measured by the current jaws. Based on the value of parameters E and I, the instrument displays the resistance R value calculated as their ratio. The value measured by the device can be used in case the single rods do not influence each other. T2000 also measures AC current up to 20A and leakage current with resolution 0.05mA. This device complies with standard IEC/EN61010-1 in CAT III 150V and it is the ideal solution for measurements to be carried out both in private and in industrial environments.

HT Italia T2000 Earth Ground Clamp Meter

The T2000 model is designed for the resistance measurement on earth probes with ground loop method without the disconnection of parts of plants under test. This type of measurement carried out by the instrument can be used for evaluation of single rods’ resistances within an earth installation assuming they do not affect each other. The inner part of the instrument is made of 2 jaws one for current and one for voltage. The voltage jaw generates a potential (E) on the loop during resistance measurement. A current (I) is consequently generated on the loop and is measured by the current jaw. Based on the value of parameters E and I the instrument displays the resistance value R calculated as their ratio. The T2000 also performs AC current up to 20A and leakage current with 0.05mA resolution and the setting of alarm thresholds on measurements is possible. The instrument is in compliance with IEC/EN61010-1, CAT III 150V and is ideal to carry out easily measurements both in domestic and industrial environments.
