										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The HT ITALIA NEPTUNE Multimeter/Insulation Tester is a mix of technology that includes an instrument for electrical safety testing (insulation up to 1000V and continuity with 200mA), an Harmonics analyzer and a True  RMS multimeter.</p>

<p>With the HT MERCURY you carry out all measurements normally performed with multimeters and IR cameras.</p>

<h3>Why True RMS?</h3>
<p><span style="font-size: 90%;">Measuring instruments for AC are divided into two types: </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 90%;">AVERAGE-VALUE meters: instruments measuring the value of the sole wave at fundamental frequency (50 or 60 Hz). </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 90%;">TRMS (True Root Mean Square) VALUE meters</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-size: 90%;">True RMS instruments measuring the TRMS value of the quantity being tested. With a perfectly sinusoidal wave, the two families of instruments provide identical results. With distorted waves, instead, the readings shall differ.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 90%;">Average-value meters provide the RMS value of the sole fundamental wave; TRMS meters, instead, provide the RMS value of the whole wave, including harmonics (within the instruments bandwidth).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 90%;">Therefore, by measuring the same quantity with instruments from both types, the values obtained are identical only if the wave is perfectly sinusoidal. In case it is distorted, TRMS meters shall provide higher values than the values read by average-value meters.</span></p>

The meter performs basically Voltage AC and DC measures up to 600V and resistance, test continuity and diode test as sub-features, more than temperature measurements °C/°F with external type K probes. HT322 is in compliance to EN 61010-1 safety standard with double insulation protection. HT322 meter have a large LCD display and each measurement function can be selected with a rotative selector at 6 positions. Other features are MAX measurement, HOLD function and manual range selection. An AutoPowerOff function is integrated to preserve the internal battery after 15 minutes of idle.</p>

<p align="justify">The HT8100 is a meter performing measurements as TRMS DMM as well as a process calibrator generating 0-20mA and 4-20mA DC current signals. As DMM the instrument carries out AC/DC/AC+DC voltage measurements up to 1000V and AC/DC/AC+DC current measurements up to 1A.</p>
<p align="justify">Under the current generation mode you can manually select between 0 to 20mA and 4-20mA as well as automatic ramps on output signal. It is capable of measuring current absorbed by external transducers simulating a current adjustable within the whole measuring range.</p>
<p align="justify">The instrument can store measurement results into an internal memory and is designed in compliance with safety standards IEC/EN61010-1 according to CAT III 1000V and CAT IV 600V with double insulation protection.</p>

It can measure combined AC+DC, which is usually only on much more expensi<span class="text_exposed_show">ve meters, and has a built in LoZ to minimise “Ghost” voltages when measuring AC.<br />
The meter is designed in compliance with IEC/EN 61010-1 safety standard with double insulation protection in CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V. HT401 has a backlit LCD display with bargraph. Other features are HOLD function, MAX/MIN/PEAK functions and Auto Power OFF feature is integrated to preserve the internal battery after 20 minutes of idleness. </span>Check the Spec!
