<p>The HT PV-ISOTEST is an instrument designed specifically for the verification, maintenance and safety of photovoltaic systems up to 1500VDC.</p>
<h3>Features:</h3>

<p>- Continuity of the protective conductor with 200mA</p>
<p>PV-ISOTEST represents a real innovation in the panorama of PV verification and testing instrumentation. PV-ISOTEST measures the i<strong>nsulation resistance of a single module, a string or even an entire photovoltaic field up to 1,500 V DC according to IEC/EN62446 standard.</strong></p>
<p>Traditional insulation meters would require a DC-rated switch-box to short-circuit the positive and negative terminals of the module/string/PV field under test. With PV-ISOTEST the use of any external device is not required, PV-ISOTEST carries out the measurements in full autonomy and self-sufficiency.</p>
<p><strong>In addition, through the new GFL (Ground Fault Locator) function, PV-ISOTEST indicates the position of any poor insulation on a string of the photovoltaic system, due, for example, to water or humidity leakage.</strong></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3>HT Instruments PV-ISOTEST Multifunction Tester for Photovoltaic system &#8211; Photovoltaic technology is changing</h3>
<p>The design and production of installations increasingly takes into consideration the increase in rated voltage, which allows for the realization of strings up to 30% longer, for a higher generated power and, at the same time, uses a smaller number of components, which allows for the reduction of energy loss (BoS) up to 30%, while improving profitability.</p>
<p>In this way, an increasing number of photovoltaic installations are realized with a rated voltage close to 1500VDC, with a view to obtaining the maximization of all the relevant benefits, while falling, at the regulatory level, in the classification of Low Voltage systems.</p>
<p>Consequently, the probability of a stress on each part of the photovoltaic system generates the need of having suitable and highly performing tools for an accurate and appropriate verification of these new parameters.</p>
<p>This is why HT Italia has created and developed PV ISOTEST, the first and only instrument suitable to carry out, on a photovoltaic system up to 1500VDC, the most important safety checks required by standard IEC/EN62446-1, and to guarantee the quality performance a professional nowadays considers as highly indispensable.</p>

<p>The HT ITALIA I-V500w 1500V I-V Curve Tracer allows <strong>field detection of I-V Curve</strong> and of the main characteristic parameters both of a single module and of strings of modules for PV installations up to a maximum of 1500V and 10A or 1000V and 15A.</p>
<p>For measuring I-V Curve, I-V500w manages an <strong>internal database of the modules, which can be updated at any time by the user</strong> and comparison between the measured data with the rated values allows immediately evaluating whether the string or the module fulfills the efficiency parameters declared by the manufacturer. I-V Curve can be measured also by decentralizing measurement of irradiation and temperature by using the optional remote unit <strong>SOLAR02</strong>, using the radio frequency connection (RF) with the master unit.</p>
<p>Also for HT ITALIA I-V500w , <strong>the display at the end of the test of I-V Curve</strong> is a clear indication about the compliance with the specifications declared by the panel manufacturer.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>HT Italia MPP300 &#8211; Accessory for measuring and recording the efficiency of single-phase and three-phase multi-string systems</strong></p>
<p>The innovative accessory HT Italia MPP300is used together with SOLAR300N or SOLAR I-V to measure and record the main parameters which characterise single-phase and three-phase, single-string and multi-string (up to three strings) photovoltaic systems.</p>
<p>It is perfect for use in systems with three-MPPT three-phase inverter and in three-phase systems provided with three single-phase inverters.</p>
<p>It is provided with a practical anti-shock “field” case, lightweight and small in size.</p>
<p>The front panel carries the LEDs for operating information and the DC and AC inputs for upstream and downstream connection of the inverter(s).</p>
<p>The HT Italia MPP300 interfaces with SOLAR300N via USB connection and SOLAR I-V via wireless connection. The SOLAR300N and SOLAR I-V are used to control the settings for the MPP300 (ie. to start/stop the recordings of electrical and environmental parameters and to enable the download of the recorded values).</p>
<p><strong>The common problems</strong></p>
<p>The distance between the photovoltaic modules and the inverter is often considerable, and this forces the operator to carry out measurements in different places at the same time. Therefore, it would be necessary to lay long connection cables between the environmental probes and the instrument. These cables could hamper the operator’s movements and be a hindrance. This kind of connection is therefore not acceptable.</p>
<p>In terms of photovoltaic installations located on top of buildings, the so-called photovoltaic roof presents another problem &#8211; reinforced concrete or metal structures, etc. must be taken into consideration. These structures would make an impossible for radio (wireless) connection between the environmental probes and the instrument, because of signal attenuation.</p>
<p><strong>The solution</strong></p>
<p>The master instrument: SOLAR300N or SOLAR I-V is only used in the initial and final phase of recording and it does not play any active role whilst recording the electrical and environmental parameters. Therefore, while the MPP300 and the SOLAR-02 respectively record the electrical and environmental parameters of the system being tested, it is possible to use the master instrument (SOLAR300N or SOLAR I-V) to carrying out other measurements. For example, with the SOLAR I-V it is possible to measure the I-V characteristics of strings and modules.</p>

PVCHECK verifies the  continuity of the protective conductors (and the associated connections) and executes insulation resistance measurement of the active conductors on a module, a string or a photovoltaic field in accordance with the requirements of IEC/EN62446, without the need of short-circuiting the positive and negative terminals. PVCHECK allows verification of  a PV string's working in accordance with the requirements of IEC/EN62446 by measuring the open circuit voltage and short-circuit current under operating conditions and reporting the results to STC (by means of radiation measurement). It provides an immediate outcome for both absolute measurements and for measurements compared  with the previously tested PV strings.<br />
PVCHECK also allows carrying out performance analysis of PV array (DC) under operating conditions (connected to the inverter) providing an indication of the power generated and the efficiency of the field as specified by IEC/EN62446.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>HT Italia SOLAR300N tests single-phase and three-phase photovoltaic systems. For this kind of tests, it is necessary to guarantee simultaneity between power measurements carried out at the inverter and irradiation and temp</p>
<p>Typically, modules and inverters can be positioned several tens of meters away from the PV system, forcing the operator to carry out measurements in different places far from each other at the same time.</p>
<p>To carry out these operations, connections can be made by means of long cables or via radio connections, but both these solutions are not ideal.  Cables could hamper the operator’s movements or be a hindrance, while radio waves would be weakened by floors, reinforced concrete or metal structures, making communication impossible!</p>
<p>In order to avoid the above-mentioned problems HT Italia SOLAR300N is provided with a remote unit which is synchronised with the main unit. The remote unit is positioned next to the PV modules and it is connected there; it measures the environmental parameters needed (irradiation and temperature) making measurements comfortable and safe.</p>
<p><strong>Useful Accessories and Software</strong></p>
<p><strong>MPP 300 </strong>increases the impressive features of SOLAR I-V by enabling recordings on the following PV systems:</p>

<p>HT Italia I-V400w allows <strong>field detection of I-V Curve</strong> an of the main characteristic parameters both of a single module and of strings of modules for PV installations up to a maximum of 1000V and 10A. For measuring I-V Curve, HT Italia I-V400w manages an <strong>internal database of the modules, which can be updated at any time by the user</strong> and comparison between the measured data with the rated values allows immediately evaluating whether the string or the module fulfills the efficiency parameters declared by the manufacturer. I-V Curve can be measured also by decentralizing measurement of irradiation and temperature by using the optional remote unit SOLAR02, using the radio frequency connection (RF) with the master unit.<br />

<p>HT Italia I-V400W IV Curve tracer of Solar PV strings and modules is the ideal solution for the ordinary and scheduled maintenance of photovoltaic systems. Measures, together with the IV characteristic of the device being tested, also the values of its temperature and incident irradiation.</p>
<p>The HT Italia I-V400w I-V curve tracer is the ideal solution for the ordinary and scheduled maintenance of photovoltaic systems. With the HT Italia I-V400w I-V curve tracer, searching for possible failures and problems in systems is extremely rapid, efficient and intuitive. The HT Italia I-V400w I-V curve tracer carries out the field measurement of the IV characteristic and of the main characteristic parameters both of a single module and of module strings. The instrument measures, together with the IV characteristic of the device being tested, also the values of its temperature and incident irradiation.<br />
The acquired data are then processed to extrapolate the IV characteristic at standard test conditions (STC) in order to proceed with the comparison with the nominal data declared by the modules’ manufacturer, thus immediately determining whether or not the string or the module being tested respects the characteristics declared by the manufacturer. Output current or voltage from the module or string is measured with the 4-terminal method, which allows extending the measurement cables without requiring any compensation for their resistance, thus always providing accurate and precise measures.<br />
In its internal memory, HT Italia I-V400w I-V curve tracer manages a database of photovoltaic modules, which can be updated at any time both via the management software and directly on the instrument. Together with the measurement of the IV characteristic and the extrapolation of the characteristic at standard test conditions, IV 400 compares the obtained values with the values declared by the manufacturer, immediately providing the OK / NO result of the test. <p>SOLAR I-V allows both <strong>testing</strong> a single-phase (three-phase with optional MPP300) photovoltaic system and <strong>verifying I-V curve.</strong> Thanks to remote unit SOLAR02, it is possible to test the system complying with the requirement of simultaneity as provided for by the reference standard. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h4>HT Italia SOLAR I-Vw is a Multifunction device for testing and maintenance on single-phase Solar P/V installations.</h4>
<p>Current and voltage measurement at modules/strings output is measured with the 4-terminal method, which allows extending possible measuring cables without considering any compensation of their resistance, thus obtaining always precise measurements. At the end of the test, the display of I-V curve on the screen is a clear indication about the compliance with the specifications declared by the panel manufacturer.</p>
