The KYORITSU 6516 & 6516BT Multi-Function electrical testers have eight test functions in the one instrument.

Continuity test

Insulation resistance test

Loop impedance test (High current measurement, No trip (ATT) measurement) 4 Prospective short circuit current test (On Loop impedance function)

RCD test

Voltage test

Phase rotation test 8 Earth test

The Kyoritsu 6516 tester incorporates Anti Trip Technology (ATT) which electronically bypasses RCDs when performing loop impedance tests. This saves time and money by not having to take the RCD out of the circuit during testing and is a safer procedure to follow.

With the ATT function enabled, a test of 15mA or less is applied between line & earth. It enables loop impedance measurements without tripping RCDs rated at 30mA and above.

ATT supports measurements using three wires: Line, Earth, and Neutral and also two wires: Line and Earth.

The Kyoritsu 2413R is 1000A True RMS AC clampmeter, that is also able to measure leakage current. It has extra wide 68mm opening jaws which provides it with the ability to clamp on all three or four phase wires to measure the total leakage current measurement.

The Kyoritsu 2413R has five scales (200mA/2/20/200A/1000A) and features a frequency selector switch to eliminate the effect of harmonics, providing a more accurate measurement, particularly at the lower end of the current scale.

Kyoritsu 4106 is a 2/ 3/ 4-wire digital earth resistance/earth resistivity tester, equipped with a microcomputer, for measuring earth resistances and calculating earth resistivities.
It has an output voltage of 10 Vrms or lower. This makes it an instrument of choice for measuring earth resistances on installations ranging from in-house wiring systems and electrical appliances to power distribution lines.
Sub-results that can be shown on the display include resistance of the auxiliary earth spikes, frequency of test current, voltage and frequency of interference (noise) and residual resistance Rk.

Kyoritsu 6201A Portable Appliance Tester

Portable appliance testing (commonly known as “PAT”, “PAT Inspection” or as “PAT Testing”) is the name of a process by which electrical appliances are routinely checked for safety. The formal term for the process is “in-service inspection & testing of electrical equipment”.

Testing involves a visual inspection of the equipment and any flexible cables for good condition, and also where required, verification of earthing (grounding) continuity, and a test of the soundness of insulation between the current carrying parts, and any exposed metal that may be touched.

The Kyoristu 6201A is a highly reliable, easy to use and reliable portable appliance tester with fast testing times and easy test selection – just by turn the rotary dial to the test you require and it will automatically complete the tests in less than 5 seconds. The Kyoritsu 6201A also features a convenient auto test sequencing function. When the test is complete, the 6201A’s LCD display will indicate a PASS or FAIL with its four LED lights.

The Kyoritsu 6201A Portable Appliance Tester is suitable for performing tests as required by the following standards.
AS/NZS 3760 In-service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
