The Extech CO100 Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Monitor is designed for air quality control and health control by measuring Carbon Dioxide level in areas where CO2 could be a concern. The measured CO2 value in ppm (parts-per-million), Temperature, Humidity and Time will be displayed on the LCD along with three CO2 status indications: Good (0 to 800ppm), Normal (800 to1200ppm), Poor (>1200ppm). An acoustic alarm sounds when the CO2 level exceeds a defined level. This meter is shipped fully tested and calibrated and, with proper use, will provide years of reliable service.

The Extech FM200 measures Formaldehyde concentration, Air Temperature, and Humidity. Adjustable audible alarm feature is excellent for checking indoor air quality in buildings.

Applications:
Formaldehyde is used in the manufacture of many industrial and consumer goods. Emissions from some of these items can rise when moisture and heat increase. These emissions are a contributing factor to Sick Building Syndrome, which may lead to itchy eyes and throat, as well as headaches and dizziness.

Maintenance

a Do not use the meter in an environment with severe change; do not store the unit in an environment with high temperature, high humidity, and high vibration. Take the battery off if the meter has not been used for a long period of time. The Diode temperature probe is used to measure temperature and the capacitive humidity sensor is used to measure take humidity. The thermocouple and humidity sensor will start aging under the influence of oxidation, reduction, corrosion, pollution, vaporization, diffusion or other metallurgy. The aging process will affect its precision seriously. Cleaning and inspection of temperature probe: The smoke, coal, dust, grease attached on the protective tube of temperature probe will slow down the heat conduction of the thermocouple and cause measuring error. Therefore, it should be cleaned periodically. The metal coating of thin thermocouple should be replaced properly upon the occurrence of corrosion.

Cleaning and inspection of humidity sensor: The smoke and dust attached on the humidity sensor will slow down the function of humidity sensor and cause measuring error. Therefore, it should be cleaned periodically. Blow off the dust with mild compressed air instead of water or alcohol. The aluminum plate inside the humidity sensor should be replaced upon the occurrence of corrosion.

REED GD-3300 Offers

The REED Combustible Gas Leak Detector is a battery operated device that is designed to transmit warnings via a series of audible and visible signals, such as alarms and flashing lights, when dangerous levels of gas vapors are detected. The GD-3300 can be used to trace leaks from natural gas lines, propane tanks, butane tanks, or any other combustible gas source and warn of a dangerous gas level.

Features

Detects a wide variety of gases, including some toxic gases and nuisance vapors

Following is a partial list of the more common gases detected: Natural Gas; Propane; Butane; Methane; Acetone; Alcohol; Ammonia; Steam; Carbon Monoxide; Gasoline; Jet Fuel; Hydrogen Sulfide; Smoke; Industrial Solvents; Lacquer Thinner; Naphtha

Precision semi-conductor sensor detects even the smallest leaks

Audible (variable tick rate) and visible indications help to pinpoint leak sources

Adjustable sensitivity helps to eliminate background gas concentrations in contaminated environments

Replacing the Batteries

Replace your 1.5 volt /size R14C(B) alkaline batteries when: • The green READY light off • No light or other activity occurs upon turning the instrument on To replace the batteries: 1. Lay the instrument face-down on a back face. 2.Remove the battery cover. Apply upward pressure to the tab at the bottom of the battery cover while lifting it out. 3.Remove the batteries using a coin or screwdriver, if necessary, to pry them out. 4.Replace all three batteries with new ones.

Replacing the Sensor

Although the sensor is designed to offer many years of reliable service, it may become inoperable if it is submerged in liquid or otherwise physically damaged. To replace sensor: 1. Turn the instrument off 2.Remove the upper tip guard by pressing straight up from the alignment notch that separates the two halves of the tip guard. 3. This is a sturdy component, but use caution bending its leads. 4. Pull the sensor straight up from its tip housing. 5.Replace the sensor, pressing it straight in. 6.Reassemble in reverse order.

The Reed SD-9901 Air Quality datalogger with a built-in clock and calendar can be connected to a computer through the USB/RS232 computer interface or it can store the readings on SD memory card.

The SD-9901 is a Reed Air Quality Detector used to simultaneously records data from three probes. The Reed SD9901 measures CO2, CO, O2, humidity and temperature and is powered by a high accuracy microcomputer circuit. The Reed meter has data hold, USB interface, record max and minimum reading functions and saves measurements values on SD memory card for further analysis. The SD-9901 IAQ Meter Datalogger is an ideal Reed instrument especially designed to be used for monitoring the quality of air in factories, hotels, schools, office buildings or greenhouses.

How to use the Reed SD-9901 Air Quality Detector.

Operating instructions
This Reed SD-9901 Air Quality Datalogger are able to operate with three probes plugged in simultaneously. These probes are: the Humidity, CO2, and either the O2 or the CO Probe. During the operations the meter will datalog all three values and will display on the meter’s LCD only one at a time. To start using the meter plug in the Humidity, CO2, and either the O2 or the CO Probe into the sockets. Turn on the meter by pressing the Power Button. To turn the meter off, hold the Power Button for over 2 seconds. Press the Function Button to scroll through the measuring functions:

rH: Humidity/Temperature

dP: Dew point Temperature

_ET: Wet bulb Temperature

CO: CO/Temperature

O2: O2/Temperature

CO2: CO2/Temperature

The selected measurement function will be saved as the default.

How to use Data hold function
During the measurements, the Reed SD-9901 Air Quality Detector are able to hold on the screen the measured value. For using that, just press the Hold Button once and a HOLD symbol will appear on the Display. Press the Hold Button once again will release the data hold function.

How to use Data Record (Max., Min. reading)
The data record function records the maximum and minimum readings. Press the REC Button once to start the Data Record function and a “REC” symbol will appear on the display. With the “REC” symbol on the display. Press the REC Button once, and a ”REC. MAX.” symbol along with the maximum value will appear on the display. Press the REC Button again, and a “REC. MIN.” symbol along with the minimum value will appear on the display. To delete the minimum value, press the Hold Button once, and the display will show a “REC.” symbol only and execute the memory function continuously.
