<p>The SEW 5500CB is a professional general purpose cable locator. It is ideal for tracing cables in walls and underground and for locating fuses &#38; breakers on their circuits.</p>
<p>The SEW 5500CB can also locate interruptions and short-circuits in cables and electrical floor heating systems. It can also be used for tracing metal water and heating pipes.</p>
<p>The unit is supplied as a complete kit comprising of a transmitter and receiver in a  carry case. The Transmitter &#38; the Receiver both also have an inbuilt torch for working in poorly lit locations.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h4><span style="color: #0000ff;">Introduction to the KEP VLF-60 HiPot Cable Tester:</span></h4>
<p>One of the most popular cable testing techniques nowadays is very low frequency testing, which, on the one hand, provides accurate testing results, and, on the other hand, does not damage good cable insulation.<br />
Very low frequency (VLF) testing involves applying frequency in the range of 0.01 to 0.1 Hz to the cable under test, which is non-destructive to insulation of proper quality, but is enough to detect cable faults. Compared to DC cable testing, which can be damaging to good insulation, VLF testing does not have such a detrimental effect on the cable being tested and does not generate any travelling waves.</p>

<p>The KEP HVT-70/50 Portable AC DC Hipot Tester tests the insulation of high voltage cables and other non-liquid dielectric materials with this bundle pack from KEP Power Systems!</p>
<p>The KEP HVT-70/50 Portable AC DC Hipot Tester comes with the ability to perform testing both automatically or manually. In automatic mode, the system will control and adjust the unit using a built-in context menu which the user can navigate through. Alternatively, specific tests can be configured to the user&#8217;s specifications and up to eight preset functions can be stored for easy repeat testing in different applications.</p>
<p>The system includes both a control unit and a high voltage unit, allowing the user to apply specific configurations to the material under test. By using the control panel, the user can easily easily configure and test RMS values of both AC voltage and current and filters out the effects of crest factor to reduce the chance of error.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>As the control unit is independent from the main system, the user can remain safe at all times by standing a safe distance away. Built-in auxiliary protection also automatically blocks output from the HV unit if insulating gas pressure is low, temperature is high and will block supply voltage if there is overcurrent present in the HVU supply circuit.</p>

HT6050 can perform test also on BNC coax cables.
