The FLIR TG267 infrared thermal camera takes you beyond the limitations of single-spot IR thermometers to both see and evaluate the hot and cold spots that can indicate serious issues. Ideal for commercial electrical, facility maintenance, and HVAC applications, this advanced thermal camera with a brilliant 2.4 inch screen reduces diagnostic time while simplifying repair and maintenance reporting.

Patented FLIR MSX® (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) enhancement improves image clarity by embossing visual scene details on full thermal images, providing added context to help you accurately target potential faults and troubleshoot repairs. Record images to monitor maintenance history and reassure your customer that problems have been resolved.

The versatile and rugged FLIR TG267 infrared thermal camera enables professionals to inspect equipment and identify problems from a safe distance by visualizing the hot and cold spots that can indicate larger issues. The FLIR TG267 features a multipoint laser pointer to clearly indicate the area measured, as well as a bright LED flashlight for working in dark, difficult-to-reach spaces.

Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology allows users to easily upload images and data to a mobile device for sharing and report-generation. The FLIR TG267 stores up to 50,000 images that users can play back on the 2.4-inch color display, which is more vibrant and 80-percent larger than earlier models.

The FLIR TG275 is the only spot thermal camera equipped with FLIR Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX®). This patented, two-camera technology extracts high-contrast details from the images taken by an onboard visible light camera and superimposes them onto the thermal images, creating a sharper, easier-to-understand picture. Users can then easily store those images to reassure customers that a problem was fixed.

FLIR engineered the rugged TG275 to endure professional environments, whether it’s tasked with checking diesel truck engines or the hydraulic systems on construction equipment. The IP54 enclosure provides a high level of protection against dust and water.

The FLIR TG275 also includes an LED light and laser pointer, which helps guide temperature measurements by indicating the size and area of the surface being measured.

Other useful features include Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) wireless technology to easily move images to a mobile device; professional reporting with FLIR Tools®; adjustable emissivity levels; and real-time temperature updates. Also, the portable TG275 has a rechargeable battery and expandable memory.

This affordable thermal imager is ideal for diagnosing issues related to heated seats, rear window defroster, relays and switches, parasitic drain on the battery, exhaust manifolds, radiators, catalytic converters, drive train components, HVAC system (vents), and AC condensers.

Infrared Temperature Measurement – Technology Explained:

Infrared thermometers measure temperature from a distance by detecting the amount of thermal electromagnetic radiation emitted from the object being measured. This allows users to accurately measure surface temperatures in hazardous or hard-to-reach places, or other situations in which non-contact temperature measurement is desirable. Infrared thermometer technology is useful in a wide range of applications – including industrial, laboratory, food service, fire fighting, hobby, and home use.

While the technology is relatively simple, the myriad of names given to these devices can be confusing. “Laser Thermometers” makes reference to the laser that helps aim the thermometer. “IR Sensors” and “IR Thermometers” make use of a common abbreviation for “infrared”. “Non-Contact Thermometers” is descriptive of the device’s ability to measure temperature from a distance. “Radiation Pyrometers” is a scientific/technical term for these devices.

The Reed FS-200 non-contact infrared (IR) thermometers is a handheld instruments with built-in laser pointer and visual indicators for both normal and exceeded temperature. Reed FS-200 was built for accurate and repeatable measurements, to meet food service industry requirements. With a good 0.1°C resolution and quick response time, FS-200 IR thermometer is capable of taking accurate temperatures up to 200°C.

REED FS-200 Specifications

Temperature Range: -58 to 392°F (-50 to 200°C)

Resolution: 0.1°C

Accuracy: +/-2% or +/- 2°C

Optical Resolution: 8:1

Emissivity: Fixed at 0.95

Response Time: Less than 1 second

Power Supply: Single 9V battery

Dimensions: 6.3 x 3.2 x 1.6″ (160 x 82 x 42mm)

Weight: 6.4 oz (177g).

Field of View This meter’s field of view is 8:1, meaning that if the meter is 8 inches from the target the diameter of the object under test must be at least 1 inch in size. The target needs to be larger than the unit’s spot size. The smaller the target, the closer you should be to it. When accuracy is critical, make sure the target is at least twice as large as the spot size. See below for more information, or refer to the side of your meter for the same diagram

As the distance (D) from the object increases, the spot size (S) of the area measured by the unit becomes larger. The relationship between distance and spot size for each unit is listed below. The focal point for each unit is 914mm (36”). The spot sizes indicate 90% encircled energy

Operating Instructions 1. Hold the meter by its handle grip and point it toward the surface to be measured 2. Pull and hold the trigger to turn the meter on and begin testing. The display will light if the battery is good. Replace the battery if the display does not light 3. While measuring, the SCAN display icon will appear in the upper left corner of the LCD 4. Release the trigger and the HOLD icon will appear on the LCD indicating that the reading is being held 5. The meter will automatically power off approximately 7 seconds after the trigger is released. Unless the unit is locked on.

Applications

Food preparation, safety and fire inspectors, plastic molding, asphalt, marine and screen printing, measure ink and dryer temperature, HVAC/R, diesel, fleet maintenance and much more
